"Rusting Bus" tells a story of abandonment, nature's reclamation, and the quiet passage of time. The rusting, moss-covered bus sits frozen in decay, its windows reflecting the dense woods where it was left to fade into the landscape. Painted details in the windows bring the reflections to life, showing moss creeping into the glass and time etching itself into the surface. The dangling bus light, stitched with intricate detail becomes a focal point- its fragile suspension mirroring the delicate balance between man-made structures and nature's persistence. In the upper right corner, the granite quarries of Barre, Vermont emerge, grounding the piece in place and history. Through layered textiles and rich color contrasts of turquoise, browns, yellow and red, this piece invites  viewers to find beauty in the overlooked and forgotten.
